A. Holiday Island is located in Northwest Arkansas. Four counties make up the Northwest corridor of the state: Benton, Washington, Carroll and Madison counties. Holiday Island is in Carroll County, Arkansas.
Holiday Island, Arkansas is governed as a Suburban Improvement District under Arkansas State Laws and Guidelines for a SID. The population fluctuates and includes full time and part time residents.
Q. What types of recreational opportunities are there at Holiday Island?A. The White River dam development created the recreational Beaver Lake and Table Rock Lake, which provide water sport activities. Ski boat traffic as well as leisure pontoon traffic is a regular occurrence on the lakes.
Canoeing and kayak opportunities are possible along the shoreline river channels where the faster currents are found.
Fishing is a year round sport. The lakes are stocked with the popular white and black bass, strippers, crappie, perch and cat fish.
Fish from a boat or find one of many bank fishing opportunities. Picnic with the family and enjoy.
Northern fish were introduced years back and fisherman can enjoy fishing for trout and walleye.
